Integrity Hills Wedding || Springfield/Branson Wedding Photographer
It was a sweltering 105 degree day when Colby and Emily got married at the beautiful Integrity Hills venue at Big Cedar in Branson, Missouri. Emily dreamed of having her ceremony out on the lawn that overlooks Table Rock Lake, so even when a big heat wave came through, she didn’t let anything get in the way of her perfect wedding vision. I’m so glad she didn’t because the views from the lawn are some of the best in all of the Ozarks. The lawn is facing west, so you get that beautiful backlit golden hour that every bride (and every photographer) dreams of! One of the reasons I absolutely I love being a wedding photographer based out of Springfield, Missouri is that we have so many gorgeous venues like Integrity Hills sprinkled throughout the area.
Emily started the day down at Big Cedar’s onsite spa, Cedar Creek Spa & Salon. Her morning was spent getting her hair and makeup done while popping champagne and basking in the joy of her special day. After everyone was ready, the bridal party took the shuttle up to Integrity Hills for a first look between the bride and groom. I always recommend a first look to any couples who ask because it gives them the amazing opportunity to spend more of the day with their soon-to-be spouse, plus it speeds up cocktail hour for their guests during the reception. That means couples get to spend more time eating, drinking, laughing, talking, and dancing the night away with their beloved family and friends!
Not long after their first look, it was time for the ceremony. It was toasty to say the least, but it was also absolutely stunning! Following the ceremony was a plated dinner at The Stables next door. I really love this space as it is has a beautiful rustic elegance and an open layout that can accommodate a large guest count. After all the toasts, special dances, and cake cutting were done, it was time for the party to start! Noah from Elevate Entertainment brought the party and the reception went long into the night as the newlyweds celebrated the beginning of their new life together.
